The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Taraba State Wing, Comrade Nathan Solomon has emerged as the Chairman of the Northern Region of the Nigeria Union of Teachers.

The election was held in Kaduna State during the union’s Northern Regional Meeting, which attracted delegates and representatives from various state chapters across the region.
His election, observers believe, reflects the confidence the delegates reposed in his leadership qualities, sustained commitment to the welfare of teachers, and his contributions to the growth, unity, and stability of the union.
The election process and the atmosphere at the meeting was described as peaceful, transparent, and democratic.
In his acceptance speech, Comrade Nathan Solomon pledged to work closely with all state chapters in the region to strengthen the union, improve teachers’ welfare and promote quality education.
He expressed appreciation to the delegates for the confidence placed in him, calling for support and cooperation to achieve the union’s shared objectives.
