Mambilla Beverages Company Records Over N110 Million Profit in 5 Months

The Mambilla Beverages Company Limited has announced a profit of over one hundred and ten million naira within the last five months, marking a significant turnaround in its operations.
Acting Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company, Dr. Abubakar Hamidu Kara, disclosed this while briefing journalists on the company’s recent milestones.
Dr. Kara, who assumed office in March 2025, noted that the company previously generated only 50 million naira, despite its vast potential.
He attributed the improved performance to the implementation of strategic reforms aimed at revitalizing the company’s operations.
He explained that one of the key measures taken was the declaration of a state of emergency on the company, alongside aggressive revitalization of the tea plantations.
As a result, daily production has increased significantly from 4,500 kilograms to 15,000 kilograms.
On staff welfare, the Managing Director revealed that the company has fully implemented the new national minimum wage and introduced other incentive packages in line with prevailing economic conditions.
Dr. Kara also dismissed as false the social media reports suggesting that a Kenyan tea company had declined a partnership with Mambilla Beverages.
He described the claims as baseless and unfounded.
He extended gratitude to the Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas, for his unwavering support and visionary leadership, which he said has been instrumental in repositioning the company for success.
