Yobe Govt To Organize Mini Domestic Trade Fair

The Yobe State Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Tourism and Solid Minerals, in collaboration with Jalayi Traders Company, Kano, is set to host a Mini Domestic Trade Fair in Damaturu, the state capital.

This is contained in a Press Release signed by Suleiman Baba Gimba, the Information and Public Relations Officer of the Ministry, a copy of which was obtained by Echo Express.
The event which will last for one month, is scheduled to hold between 15th April to 15th May, 2025 at the Ibrahim Gaidam Ultra Modern Market, Damaturu.
The theme of the fair, which is “Boosting Economic Activities of the State through Modern Market Development”, aims to boost economic activities within the state by developing modern markets across major towns.
According to the Release, the initiative is in line with the directives of Yobe State Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, who mandated the Commissioner, Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Tourism and Solid Minerals, Rt. Hon. Kaigama Umar, to organize the event.
Preparation for the trade fair is currently at the preliminary stage, as the event promises to be a significant milestone in the state’s efforts to promote economic growth and development.
