The attention of Mr. Yallah Kadara Bariki has been drawn to malicious and unfounded allegations recently circulated with the clear intent of tarnishing his hard-earned reputation and integrity. Mr. Bariki is a reputable businessman, widely known for his genuine and transparent dealings in the purchase and sale of vehicles of various types. His business has been built over the years on the pillars of trust, due diligence, and accountability.
The facts of the matter are as follows:
Mr. Bariki, acting in good faith, responded to information about a vehicle on sale and proceeded to inspect it.
During the process, he observed discrepancies between the chassis number on the provided documents and that on the vehicle. This was immediately flagged, to which the seller admitted an error and promised to provide the correct documents.
An agreement was duly reached, formalized, and signed by both parties. In line with standard business practice, Mr. Bariki made a part payment, withholding the balance pending the delivery of the correct documents.
Subsequently, he was contacted by an unknown individual making unverified claims about the vehicle’s ownership, which was the first time such an issue was ever raised.
