Born on 30th August 1960 in Bagale, Fufore LGA, Adamawa State, he attended Gwadabawa Primary School, Jimeta-Yola (1970–1976). He then pursued vocational training in Building Construction (Trade Test Grade I) at the Vocational Training Centre, Fufore (1978–1980), followed by a Certificate in Building Technology from Kaduna Polytechnic in 1982—demonstrating a lifelong commitment to learning and professional growth.
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE & CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Homon Kalban possesses comprehensive technical skills, including the design of architectural, irrigation, and civil engineering drawings. His hands-on supervisory expertise is enhanced by proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
His notable career contributions include:
· Design & Supervision: Designed and supervised the construction of Fufore LGA Cottage Hospital for the Adamawa State Ministry of Health (1999–2000).
· Housing Projects: Oversaw construction of multiple Housing Estates in Adamawa State (1998–1999, 2001–2002).
· Institutional Development: Supervised the construction of 12 Office Blocks at Plateau State Polytechnic, Jos (2015).
· Renovation Projects: Managed the renovation of the Mathematics Department at Plateau State Polytechnic, Jos (2023).

Yet, when we erred, he disciplined us firmly and justly. He often tells stories of Bagale and narrates our family history, keeping our heritage alive. Throughout, he has maintained a harmonious and peaceful home—to the extent that our mother has never had reason for quarrel or strife. In anything we want to do or pursue, he tells us to be positive and confident, saying in the Bwatiye language, ‘Tele hufo eche gidiyoche abo dei’—a piece of life advice that encapsulates the optimistic and resilient worldview he instills in his children.”
