TSBPCM Congratulates Newly Appointed Third Class Chiefs

The Taraba State Bureau for Peace and Conflict Management, TSBPCM has congratulated the two newly appointed Third Class Chiefs who were presented with their Staff of Office by Governor Agbu Kefas last Friday.
The Bureau’s Congratulatory Message is contained in a Press Release signed by the Chairman of the Bureau, Bishop Innocent Rubiruka Solomon, a copy of which was obtained by Echo Express in Jalingo, the state capital.
“On behalf of the Taraba State Bureau for Peace and Conflict Management, I wish to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed Third Class Chiefs—HRH Manu Wunuken Emmanuel Masa Ibi, Ando-Idi, and HRH Umaru Kumbyera, the Gara Chanchanji—on their well-deserved recognition and the official presentation of staff of office by His Excellency, Dr. Agbu Kefas, the Executive Governor of Taraba State.
“This historic moment is not only a personal triumph for the newly installed traditional rulers, but also a critical step toward fostering deeper unity, restoring traditional values, and strengthening the bonds between leadership and the people.
“It is our hope and sincere prayer that your reigns will usher in a new era of peace, tolerance, and mutual respect among our diverse communities”.
The Chairman stressed that their appointments carry the solemn responsibility of safeguarding the traditions of their people while championing progress, inclusiveness, and security.
He added that the Bureau is confident that the traditional rulers will use their revered positions to bridge divides, uphold justice, and support ongoing efforts to eliminate criminal elements from our communities.
“May your leadership bring healing where there is hurt, peace where there is unrest, and unity where there is division.
Bishop Innocent Solomon appreciated the wisdom and foresight of Dr. Agbu Kefas, for this timely and commendable decision, saying his emphasis on merit-based title conferment and the strengthening of traditional institutions reflects a deep understanding of the role the royal fathers play in the sustenance of societal harmony and good governance.
