Tricycle/Motorcycle Association Identifies With Gov Kefas

The Taraba State Government will continue to provide the necessities that will make life more meaningful for the people of the state.

 

This assurance was given by the Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas when he received the leadership and members of the Taraba state branch of the commercial tricycle and motorcycle Association of Nigeria, TASCOMAN, at the Government House, Jalingo.

The Taraba State Governor represented by his Deputy Alhaji Aminu Abdullahi Alkali received the leadership and members of the Association at the Government house Gate Jalingo when they came on a solidarity visit to identify with the administration of Dr Agbu Kefas for embarking on developmental projects for the people of Taraba state.

 

The Deputy Governor assured them of the Government’s readiness to provide dividends of democracy to all citizens and solicited the continued support of the public for a greater Taraba State.

Commenting on the restrictions on the movement of tricycles in Jalingo, the state capital, the Governor said the Government did not restrict the movements of tricycles to harm any citizen but for a robust security system to protect the people and promised to look into the request to relax the restrictions for more businesses to thrive.

He informed the union members that Unity and cooperation must be their watch word to enable Government to provide all the necessities that will help propel the union to greater heights.

In his speech earlier, the Taraba State Chairman of the Taraba State Branch of the Commercial Tricycle and Motorcycle Association of Nigeria, TASCOMAN, Comrade Abdullahi Bello commended the Administration of Governor Agbu Kefas, describing it as the first in the history of Taraba State to listen to their cries and even approved some of their demands by establishing bus stops in some strategic locations in the state capital and many other things for the smooth running of their businesses.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, Hon Abubakar Bawa said the administration of Dr Agbu Kefas will continue to do all that is expected for the people of the state.

The leadership and members of TASCOMAN were seen carrying various placards with inscriptions; Thank you for the bus stops, thank you for the free Education, thank you for the street lights, thank you for the farming implements and vote of confidence on the administration amongst others.
