The English Premier League At A Glance
By Tanko Bauka
Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Brighton Hove Albion all recorded back-to-back victories going into the week three encounter.
Arsenal travelled to Villa Park having in mind the nightmare of last season, beaten home and away by Aston Villa, a result which denied them from winning the English Premier League title, coming short by a narrow one point to the eventual winner, Manchester City, who claimed the league title, a record back to back four times.
The English Premier League EPL, though, is in just week two but already with scintillating results that flatter the football world and the lover of the EPL, which has been adjudged as the most exciting and the best football league in the world.
Chelsea thumping Wolves at home 6-2 and Tottenham Hotspur putting 4 unreplied goals past Everton certainly are some of the standout results.
Elsewhere, the big boys stepped up their game with the exception of AC Milan, Lazio Atalanta and Roma in the Italian Serie A, while Sevilla and Valencia in the Spanish LA Liga all dropped points.
The star match for this weekend is the match between Manchester United and Liverpool FC looking at the history of encounters between the two club sides in the past, Arsenal and high-flying Brighton Albion under their new youthful coach will battle for the three points at stake while Chelsea will seek to build on the success of their 6-2 victory over Wolves last weekend as they take on Crystal Palace at the Stamford bridge.
Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspur will also slug it out in another cracker for the weekend.
