TARAVEST VISION AND STRATEGY: A LANDMARK STEP TO DEVELOPMENT AND PROGRESS OF TARABA STATE
By Bishop Innocent Rubiruka Solomon
Since the state was created in August, 1991, there has been a deep yearning for investors to take advantage of the enormous resources and potentials in the state both human and natural to create development.

Gov Agbu Kefas
Coupled with the recurrent crisis and conflicts that have trailed the state leaving behind devastations, destructions, waste and loss of lives and valuables which have added to its backwardness and underdevelopment,
Taraba State is in the records as one of the States in the country that has been left behind in terms of everything, modern infrastructure, standard and vibrant Institutions, economic and industrial activities etc.
The Governor Agbu Kefas’ vision and strategy, Taraba International Investment Summit (TARAVEST) is a landmark breakthrough measure to halt once and for all the underdevelopment of the state that has become a stigma.
The partnership this project will enlist in the development drive of the state will anchor the development and advancement process that is long overdue.

Bishop Innocent Rubiruka Solomon
Haven’t created a more safe environment in the state compared to the experiences of the past by ensuring the security of lives and property, the Dr Agbu led administration has one critical duty among many others and that is to mobilize and woo investors into the state by all means. This is what it will take to break the jinx of backwardness and advance development in a state where potentials and resources untapped are huge and largely untouched.
