Taravest 2025: Jalingo Gears Up for Nigeria’s Biggest Investment Summit

Jalingo, the capital of Taraba State, is set to transform into a vibrant hub of opportunity as it hosts Taravest 2025, the biggest investment summit of the year. Slated for May 21, 2025, at the TY Danjuma Government House Banquet Hall, the event is more than a conference—it’s a bold statement that Taraba is open for business.
With the theme centred around “Unlocking Taraba’s Economic Potential through Strategic Investment,” Taravest is drawing global attention. Investors, diplomats, business magnates, and policy experts are expected to descend on the serene city, looking to tap into its untapped resources and opportunities.
Often called Nigeria’s hidden gem, Taraba State boasts of vast agricultural land, rich mineral deposits, and a culturally diverse population.
Governor Agbu Kefas, the summit’s chief host, has been consistent in his message: Taraba is ready to rise.
“This is not just a summit; it is a declaration of intent. Taraba is strategically positioned to become Nigeria’s investment haven,” the Governor said in a recent press release.
Taravest 2025 is expected to showcase a wide range of sectors—from agribusiness, renewable energy, and tourism, to infrastructure, fintech, and manufacturing. Local entrepreneurs will have the rare chance to pitch ideas directly to global investors, while policymakers will engage in deep discussions on enabling environments for sustainable growth.

The Taravest Organizing Committee has already begun final inspections of facilities, fine-tuning logistics to ensure everything runs seamlessly. “We are committed to hosting a world-class event,” said the committee’s spokesperson.
