Taraba: Ussa LG Chairman To Connect 4 Communities To National Grid

The Chairman of Ussa Local Government Area of Taraba State, Hon Abershi Musa has set up a 5 Man Committee to facilitate the connection of 4 Communities in the Council area to the National Grid through the Kashimbilla Dam located in the state.

The committee which is chaired by Mr Enoch Usman has Mr Joseph T. Danjuma, Yakubu Andy and Rimamnyang Emmanuel as members while Mr Denis Danjuma is to serve as Member and Secretary.
A Press Release from the Information Office of the Local Government identified the benefitting communities are Fikyu, Kpambo-Puri, Lumbu, and Kwesati.
“The committee is composed of seasoned professionals, including retired and serving staff of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN)”.
Hon. Abarshi Musa has given the committee a period of three (3) weeks to submit its report to enable immediate implementation of the project.
The Chairman assured the people of Ussa Local Government Area of his administration’s commitment to ensure meaningful development that will positively impact the lives of all citizens.
He therefore called on the people of Ussa Council area to give maximum support to Governor Agbu Kefas and the Government of Taraba State to attract more development projects to the local government area.
He also advised youths in the area to shun all forms of crime and assist security agencies by exposing criminal elements, stressing that this will help ensure a peaceful and secured Christmas celebration.
“Security is everybody’s business,” he emphasized.
