Taraba To Host PDP Govs Forum, Gov Kefas Sets Up Committee

Taraba State Government has set up a committee for the hosting of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP Governors forum.

A Statement by Secretary to Government of Taraba State, SGS Gebon Timothy Kataps says the meeting would hold from 22nd to 24th of August, 2024.
It states that the Deputy Governor of the State, Alhaji Aminu Abdullahi Akali is to serve as Chairman of the committee.
Members of the Committee include Senator Haruna Manu , Member House of Representatives Mohammed Lauya , Commissioner of Information, Commissioner of Finance, Commissioner of Energy, Commissioner of Women Affairs and child Development and the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice.
Others on the list are Chief of staff, Special Adviser to Governor Agbu Kefas on Security and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters while Secretary to Government of the state is to served as Secretary.
It adds that the Protocol Committee has the Commissioner of Youth and Sports, Commissioner of Digital Economy, Commissioner Trade and Industry, Commissioner of Science and Technology, Commissioner of Health, Commissioner Transport and Commissioner of Works.
Commissioner of Agriculture and Food Security, Commissioner Poverty Alleviation, Commissioner of Urban and Rural Development, Commissioner Water Resources and Commissioner of Heritage and Ecotourism.
Others are Commissioners of Special Duties, Education, Social Justice and Integration, Director Protocol and thirteen other Protocol staff are members.
Transport sub Committee has Chief of Staff, Director Protocol,PPS and Permanent Secretary Government House.
Dinner/Gala night/Accomodation has COS ,DOP,PPS ,PS Government house, Dr Josiah Sabo Kente ,Mrs Mary Sinjen and Brig General Uwa .
The Media and Publicity sub Committee has DG PDP Governors forum and Team, Commissioner of Information, SA media and CPS .
Security sub Committee has ADC ,CSO,CD,DOP, Commander Strike Force.
The Main Security Committee has Nigerian Police NA 6 Brigade ,NSCDC, DSS, Nigerian Immigration Services, Nigeria Correctional Service, Nigeria Customs, Taraba Marshals ,DIA, Nigeria Air Force,FRSC and SA homeland.
