Taraba at 33 GOODWILL MESSAGE
I am overwhelmed with joy and happiness as I join all Tarabans at home and in the Diaspora today to celebrate the 33rd anniversary of our very dear state.

It is another opportunity for all of us to thank God for Taraba State – “Nature’s (greatest) Gift to the Nation.” We must also thank our elders, dead and alive, whose relentless struggles, eventually gave birth to Taraba State.
They, certainly, did not labour in vain. The progress that the state has made in those years past and the promise of an assured future which the creation of the state holds for the future generation of our people are befitting rewards for their efforts.
This year’s anniversary is particularly significant for my administration Moving Forward Agenda. It is the second in the life of our very pragmatic and highly focused government.
Let me also, on behalf of our people, use this opportunity to thank our leaders, past and present, who contributed in various ways to the progress that the state has made in its 33 years of existence.
Tarabans are proud of you all and they expect that you continue to play this patriotic roles for the benefit of the state and its people.
I congratulate all our people on this very remarkable day in the life of our state and enjoin you all to remain steadfast in your loyalty and commitment to the survival and progress of the state.
