Taraba Perm. Sec, ‘KOTOLO’ says, “Thanksgiving is a necessity”.

The Taraba State Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, Hon. Aminu Ayuba Kotolo says thanksgiving to God is a necessity and a debt all humans are owing God.

Ayuba Aminu Kotolo who stressed that it is always good to give thanks to God for His mercies, love, guidance, protection, care and provision made the assertion while interacting with the media shortly after performing a thanksgiving service at ‘Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cathedral’, Mile Six Jalingo.
“I am here to give thanks to God Almighty for His Love, guidance, protection, care and provision, God has prospered me at many spheres of life and that’s why I am here to give Him thanks”,
“God has done so much for me and my family, I have sailed through so many obstacles, I have encountered enormous challenges in life, I have made progress in many spheres of life and health wise, I am alright. All to the glory of God Almighty. And so, I need to give God thanks and that is why I and my family are here to show appreciation through thanksgiving”, he repeated.
The celebrant added that he was at the church to thank God for elevating him to the position of Permanent Secretary, the highest position and cadre meant for every Civil Servant.
Ayuba Kotolo further informed Journalists that there are enormous challenges one encounters especially when you are dedicated or committed to your duties while serving the public.
He advised that the whole thing boils down to seeking God’s continuous grace, guidance and again the person must not forget to be patient.
“There must be challenges actually but when you have faith in God coupled with being patient, those challenges faced as you carry out your lawful duties as a civil servant are surmountable”.
He however, called on Secretaries, Directors, staff of various Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDAs), Boards and Parastatals, political office holders working under Governor Agbu Kefas to cooperate with his programmes and policies to help him succeed.
“The Governor has the vision to develop the State and and all of us must queue into his agenda to help actualize his mandate”.
Also speaking in an interview, Mrs. Pheetami Àminu Kotolo wife of the celebrant, appreciated God for the love shown the family and for counting them among the living.

Mrs. Kotolo, who described the day also as the son’s birthday prays for more grace upon the family.
She used the opportunity to pray for every member of the church, “Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cathedral, Mile Six Jalingo and asked God to bless them.
She described her husband as a philanthropist, a person who derives joy in doing good to people despite tribal, religious and political differences.
“My prayer is for God to continue to keep the family together, continue to bless my husband, sustain him so that he will continue to be a blessing to the society”, she said.
