Taraba LG Elections: Hon James Fwacha Auta Submits To People’s Calls To Lead in Bali

Ahead of the forthcoming Local Government Council elections in Taraba State, Hon James Fwacha Auta responded to the clarion call of people to contest for the position of the Chairman of Bali Local Government Area.

His acceptance to the call is contained in a Press Release he personally signed, a copy of which was obtained by Echo Express.
I, Honourable James Fwacha Auta, wish to humbly offer myself to run for election to the office of the Chairman of Bali Local Government Area in the forthcoming Council Elections.
“After Series of Consultations and discussions with critical Stakeholders, Political, Social Groups, Trade Unions and Student Associations in Bali Local Government Area in its entirety, including our most revered religious leaders of various faiths, I have resolved to offer myself as the torchbearer to lead the way and provide the light that has eluded our people. “As a member of the Bali Local Government Area Stakeholders Forum myself, I share the concern of all other stakeholders over all issues pertaining to development of our area. If given the chance, I will assiduously work with all stakeholders regardless of ethnic or religious inclinations to restore dignity, unity and past glory in governance of Bali Local Government Area through decent engagement with the people who I shall serve diligently as a Servant-Leader.
He however, stressed that his decision to put himself forward is subject to the general acceptance of the majority of the well-meaning and respectable, critical stakeholders, “believing as I do that, the onerous task ahead of uniting our people requires a person with the capacity, experience and the right pedigree to execute.
“I believe I have that I can fit into the job description.
“I am however, ready and willing to rest my ambition should the respected Forum of critical stakeholders of Bali Local Government Area decide that I do not fit in.
“I am a firm believer in the leadership style and vision of His Excellency the Executive Governor of Taraba State Dr. Agbu Kefas and I shall strive to conduct myself in like manner and provide effective leadership at the grassroot level while strengthening the party.
“Finally, I want to assure my brothers and sisters, the great people of Bali Local Government Area, that if God Almighty through you, the people, give me this opportunity, your well being will be my number one priority at all times”.
