Taraba International Investment Summit Committee Stages Awareness Road Walk in Jalingo

As part of activities to sensitize the public ahead of the Taraba State International Investment Summit, the organizing committee staged a road walk from the Ministry of Works Roundabout to the TY Danjuma House in Jalingo, the state capital.
The road walk was aimed at creating awareness and mobilizing public support for the upcoming summit.
Speaking on the goal of the summit, the state Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas, while receiving the Participants of the road walk at the TY Danjuma House, said the summit will attract investors in agriculture, mining, tourism and energy among others.
According to Dr Agbu Kefas, the state is open to the world to tap its abundant natural resources, and the road walk was an indication that Taraba is ready to welcome inventors and give them confidence to invest in the state.
He noted that a lot of countries have indicated interest to be part of the summit.
He announced that President Bola Ahmed is expected to be the Guest of Honour at the event.
He enjoined Tarabans to display hospitality and tolerance to the visitors.
In his remarks, Chairman of the Taraba State Investment Summit Committee, Rt Hon Ndudi Elumelu, described the road walk as a symbolic gesture to demonstrate the unity, peace, and readiness of Tarabans to welcome investors.
He emphasized that the people of the state are physically active and eager to engage meaningfully with economic partners.
Elumelu further stated that the summit is an opportunity for investors to channel resources into the state’s economy.
He encouraged entrepreneurs to prepare their locally made products for exhibition during the summit.
On preparations, the chairman assured that the committee has put all necessary measures in place to ensure a successful and impactful summit.
