Taraba: Ibi LG To Place Priority on Education

The Executive Chairman of Ibi Local Government Area of Taraba state Muhammadu Iliya Ajibu, says giving priority to education is the best legacy .

The Council Boss who was represented by the Education Secretary, Ibi Local Government, Mr Bala Adi James was speaking during of a one day workshop organized for Head teachers and Principals in Ibi.
The workshop was organized by Kwararafa Galaxy club in collaboration with T Y Danjuma Foundation.
The Coordinator of the club, Associate Prof Zaku Sabo, described the workshop as a necessity geared towards enlightening science and mathematics teachers on how to prepare adequate lesson plan and notes.
He added that by so doing, pupils will not have difficulty offering science courses In secondary and tertiary
institutions as most of the medical Doctors working in the state are non indigenes.
Different Facilitators including the Project Manager of TY Danjuma Foundation spoke on different topics at the occasion.
Some of the participants, Prince Mohammed Atama and Talatu Madaki,
appreciated the club for their timely intervention.
They said the workshop has indeed refreshed them on their responsibilities which will bring revival to the Education system .
