Taraba Govt Restates Commitment To Boost Agriculture

The Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas has reaffirmed his commitment to boost agriculture in Taraba State through the provision of fertilizers, as he distributes the commodities to dry-season farmers in ATC, Ardo kola Local Government Area of the State.
During the distribution, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Agriculture and Food Security, Zanau Hassan Maikasuwa, highlighted the advantages of dry-season farming, noting that it allows farmers to control water supply and optimize yields.
He urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the fertilizers to improve their productivity and economic well-being.
The event was not just about distribution but also education, as the farmers received training on modern techniques to enhance crop yields, ensuring they get the best results from their efforts.
Maikasuwa stressed that Governor Kefas’ vision for agriculture includes empowering farmers with both resources and knowledge.
Some of the beneficiaries, expressed their deep appreciation for the governor’s intervention, acknowledging that the fertilizer support would ease their farming challenges and significantly enhance food production in the state.
