Taraba Gov’s 2 Years in Office: SA On Muslim Religious Affairs Organizes Prayer Session

As part of activities to commemorate the two-years anniversary of Governor Agbu Kefas’ administration, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Muslim Affairs, Hussaini Ismaila, organized a special prayer session at Saurara Jummat Mosque in Jalingo.
The event drew Islamic clerics and faithful from across the city who gathered to offer prayers for continued peace, progress, and good governance in Taraba State.
In his address, Hussaini Ismaila appreciated the Muslim community in Taraba State for their steadfast support to Governor Kefas and urged them to continue believing in the governor’s vision and policies, which are geared toward improving the lives of the people.
He offered prayers for the governor’s good health and acknowledged the visible positive changes that have taken place under his leadership.
He emphasized the importance of peace and unity, noting that, “Without peace, no one can go to church or mosque. But today, under this administration, people sleep with their eyes closed.”
The Special Adviser further reminded the congregation that power comes from God and praised Governor Kefas for being a leader who listens to and respects both faiths equally.
He recounted a recent instance where the governor, while passing by a dilapidated school owned by a Muslim community, ordered for its immediate renovation after noticing its blown-off roof.
He concluded by calling for special prayers for peace to return to the Karim Lamido area, urging everyone to continue supporting the administration in its pursuit of lasting development and harmony.
