Taraba GOV SET TO JOIN APC, INSPECTS VENUE AHEAD OF DEFECTION EVENT

The Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas, has announced that he will formally join the All Progressives Congress (APC) on November 19, 2025.
Governor Agbu Kefas announced this in Jalingo, explaining that his decision is driven by what he described as the destiny of Taraba State.
He stressed that the move is not motivated by personal interest but by the need to align the state with a direction he believes will enhance development and unity.
Dr Kefas reiterated that his political realignment is aimed at securing a better future for Taraba and ensuring that the state is positioned for greater opportunities.
Ahead of the event, the Governor has continued inspection of the Jolly Nyame Stadium, which will serve as the venue for the ceremony.
The stadium is expected to witness a large influx of visitors, supporters, and party stakeholders from within and outside the state.
