Taraba Gov Inaugurates New Appointees, Charges Them To Carry Constituents Along

The Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas on Thursday inaugurated Chairmen and Members of Boards and Commissions, Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants among others.
The inauguration ceremony which took place at the Jolly Nyame Stadium Jalingo, the state capital.
Speaking at the event, Governor Agbu Kefas, charged them with
the responsibility of being the face of the administration and ensuring that government policies are effectively
communicated and implemented for the benefit of the people.
He emphasized the need for public engagement and understanding, stating that his administration remains committed to policies that prioritize the welfare of all citizens.
He acknowledged recent attempts by mischief-makers to misrepresent government initiatives, stressing that his government would not be distracted by negativity but would remain focused on delivering progress, peace, and development.
“This administration will not engage in distractions or political drama. We are here to serve, to build, and to uplift our people. Peace and progress are not luxuries; they are necessities. We welcome constructive criticism, but we reject blackmail and misinformation,”” the governor stated.
Reaffirming his commitment to the free and compulsory education policy, quality healthcare, infrastructure development, economic empowerment, and security
reforms, Governor Kefas called on the newly inaugurated officials to carry out their responsibilities with integrity and dedication.
“You are not just appointees; you are ambassadors of this government. Engage the public, clarify policies, and ensure that no one is left behind. Governance thrives on mutual respect and understanding, and we must set the right tone in our service to the people,” he added.
The Governor assured the people of Taraba that his administration remains steadfast in its vision of building a state that is prosperous, peaceful, and inclusive.
He urged citizens to support the government’s efforts and
remain hopeful for a brighter future.
The newly inaugurated officials pledged their commitment to the governor’s vision and assured the people of Taraba State of their readiness to serve
diligently.
Some of the appointees, interviewed by Echo Express, Hon. James Musa Dong, Board Member Water Supply Agency from Zing, Hon. Abdullahi Ngiri Umaru and Hon. Mamuda J. Musa all from Sardauna Constituency, all appreciated the Governor for giving them responsibility and promised to discharge their duties diligently.
Similarly, Hon. Mrs Patience N. Danjuma SA on Community and Social Development Project (CSDP) and a member of Women of Vision Group, Taraba State from Wukari 1 Constituency, thanked the Governor for including women in his administration and prayed God to bless him.
