Taraba Gov Creates Livestock Development Agency

The Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas has approved the creation of Taraba State Livestock Department Agency.

This latest development is contained in a Press Release on Tuesday evening signed by the Secretary to the Government of Taraba State, Chief Gebon Timothy Kataps in Jalingo, the state capital.
The Release stressed that the measure is is to align with the Federal Government’s policy on livestock development, positioning Taraba State as a major player in the sector considering its vast livestock population and natural resources.
It will be recalled that the Governor recently approved the creation of three agencies.
They are the Taraba State Youth Department Agency, the Taraba State Sanitation Agency and the Taraba State Entrepreneurship , Innovation and Solution Agency.
