Taraba Federal Lawmaker Empowers Constituents With Various Valuable Items

Items worth Millions of Naira have been distributed to the Constituents of Bali-Gassol Federal Constituency as Empowerment by the Federal law Maker Representing the constituency at the Green Chamber Hon Ja’afaru Yakubu Chiroma.
The event which was held at the Federal Polytechnic Bali, attracted beneficiaries from the 23 wards of the constituency.
The Federal Lawmaker was and his entourage were earlier received at the outskirt of Bali town by a mammoth crowd, chanting different slogans showing their solidarity and support to the member, Hon Ja’afaru Yakubu Chiroma, popularly known as ADC.
Speaking at the occasion, the Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu kefas, represented by the State PDP Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Bawa expressed delight with the giant efforts of the Federal law maker since assumption of office, stressing that this is not the first Empowerment undertaking by Hon Ja’afaru Yakubu Chiroma.
Alhaji Abubakar Bawa used the medium to call on other politicians to emulate the federal law maker whom he described as a bulldozer that is always bringing back the dividends of democracy to his people.
On his part, the convener of the occasion, Hon Ja’afaru Yakubu Chiroma said he is always ready to uplift his people hence the need to empower them for self-reliance.
There were goodwill messages from some of the invited guests who unanimously saluted the good works of the Federal law maker, advising the beneficiaries to use the items judiciously.
Hon Ja’afaru Yakubu Chiroma led other dignitaries to inspect the items and later commissioned them one after another.
Some of the beneficiaries of the Empowerment programme could not hide their joy as they registered their appreciation to the member, promising to use the items according to the purposes intended.
In an interview shortly after the programme, the federal law maker explained why he decided to embarked on the empowerment programme which according to him is not the first and will not be the last.
Items distributed includes Highlander Jeeps, different category of Golf cars, 307 Peugeot cars, two Sharon buses for Bali and Mutum biyu graveyards, Motorcycles, Hospital Equipments including beds, Ultra Sound Scanning Machines, Ambulances for the primary health care facilities, Mini tractors for the 23 wards, solar panels, wheel chairs and Herbicides among other valuable items.
Earlier on arrival, the federal law maker paid homage to the palaces of Lamdo Bakundi Muhammad Kabiru Misa and Kur Jibu Bali, Abubakar Mahmud Adamu for their royal blessings.
He then proceeded to commission some of his roads projects in Bali town.
The historic event was witnessed by top politicians from National, State and local levels including some members of the state executive council, National and state legislators, Political associates of the Member, friends and well-wishers from within and outside Taraba State.
