Taraba: Danladi receives rousing welcome, vows to deliver Tinubu, Kefas in 2027

Former Acting Governor of Taraba State, Senator Sani Abubakar Danladi has arrived the State after receiving appointment from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Coordinator, Renewed Hope Initiatives (RHI) of the State.
Senator Danladi who doubles as the former Deputy Governor of the State was given a rousing welcome by his supporters, political associates, friends and members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the State.
Danladi, our Correspondent gathered was welcomed on arrival at Danbaba Suntai Airport, Jalingo, led through a long motor-cade along major streets in the metropolis, down to C2C event centre, the reception ground.
It was also gathered that Danladi presently, holds a position as a member of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETfund) Board.
Answering questions from Journalists shortly, Danladi told the gathering that he was overwhelmed by the massive turn out by the people of the State to welcome and to receive him.

He emphasized that his priority is to deliver President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the state Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas during the 2027 general elections.
He further stressed that since Dr. Kefas has identified with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the federal government, there’s no other option than to support and help his re-election bid.
On how to achieve the mandate, Sani Abubakar Danladi noted that the critical stakeholders, members and supporters of APC in the State will render the needed support.
“With the help of my Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas and other critical stakeholders of the State, we are going to deliver President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Agbu Kefas come 2027”, he said.
The issues of insecurity, hunger among other challenges Nigerians and Taraba people face, Danladi assured that as 2026 unfolds, there will be impressive changes across the country.
“I want you to know that in governance, one has to take things bit by bit and that is what people don’t know. But, we that are at the helm of affairs, we know it. I want to assure you that as we enter 2026, you are going to see tremendous changes of things across the country”, he said.
Also speaking, Comrade Bala Bobboi Kaigama, the Commissioner representing Taraba State at the Federal character commission eulogized the political life of Senator Danladi saying he is rooted in politics.
“If you think, this is a human being that you can retire in politics, you are making a grievous mistake because he is deeply rooted in politics. He eats politics, he drinks politics and he breathes politics”.
Bobboi Kaigama, who doubles as former National President, Trade Union Congress (TUC) further disclosed that they were at the event to show solidarity to Senator Danladi, and to appreciate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing him the Coordinator of the Renewed Hope in Taraba State.
“He is our Ambassador. We are here to give him all the necessary support and cooperation to ensure that President Tinubu succeeds not only in Taraba State but in Nigeria”,
“As the Coordinator of Tinubu, Senator Danladi is also the Coordinator of Governor Kefas and so, we are here also to give him the necessary support to ensure that we deliver Kefas come 2027.
Before, we used to say, 50% or there about for Kefas but now, we are saying, 100% for Kefas”, he added.
Other chieftains of APC who spoke at the event include; former deputy Governorship candidate for 2023 polls, Hon. Abdullahi Kirim, member of the State Assembly representing Karim II State constituency, Hon. Abner shittu, DG, Sani Danladi campaign organization, Hon. Othman Nathaniel as well as Hon. Nasiru Tafida, a close associate to Sani Abubakar Danladi.
They all spoke in solidarity to Danladi’s vision for Tinubu and Kefas.
