Taraba Chief of Staff Receives Leadership of Youth Assembly Of Nigeria, YAN

Representatives of the Taraba State Chapter of the Youth Assembly Of Nigeria, YAN this Thursday paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Staff, Government House Administration, Dr Jeji William, Mni in his office in Jalingo, the state capital.
The Youth Assembly delegation was led by the Speaker, Rt Hon Andebutop Bulus Nyama.
“The visit is part of the Assembly’s ongoing efforts to build bridges of collaboration and enhance synergy with critical stakeholders in governance for the progress and development of Taraba State”.
He stressed that as the legislative arm of the youth in Taraba State, they are committed to advocating for policies and initiatives that empower young people, foster development and contribute positively to the state’s growth and development.
Rt Hon Andebutop Bulus Nyama explained that the aim of the visit is to engage the Office of the Chief of Staff to discuss ways the youth can support the government’s agenda and collaborate on initiatives aimed at advancing the welfare of the citizenry.
He said it is also to explore avenues for strengthening the inclusion of young people in policy making and governance.
Responding, the Chief of Staff, Dr Jeji William thanked the Youth Assembly for coming to identify with the Moving Forward Agenda of Governor Agbu Kefas.
He highlighted the several programmes and policies of the present administration aimed at addressing the challenges confronting the youth and Tarabans in general.
While assuring the Youth Assembly delegation that the Governor is committed and taking more measures to make life more meaningful for the people, added that their concerns will be presented to the Governor for necessary action.
The Chief of Staff charged the Youth Assembly to continue to mobilise the youth population to continue to give the government the required support and cooperation to serve the state better.
