Taraba Assembly Complex: Speaker Commends Reconstruction Work

The Speaker Taraba state House of Assembly, Rt Hon John Kizito Bonzena has commended the ongoing reconstruction work at the State House of Assembly Complex.
John Kizito Bonzena stated this at the House of Assembly Complex in Jalingo shortly after inspecting the level of execution of the project.
He expressed confident with the nature and quality of work done in the Complex, saying it would go a long way to improve productivity because of the conducive working environment.
According to him, the Taraba State House of Assembly has been there for thirty years, expressing hope that with the renovation and replacement of new equipment and furniture in place, it would last for more than another thirty years.
Rt Hon John Bonzena commended the contractor handling the reconstruction and remodeling the House of Assembly Complex.
The Speaker also commended the Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas for his sustained support towards creating a conducive environment to the Legislators, saying the gesture would bring out the best in them.
Commenting on the new look of the Chambers, Rt Hon Bonzena explained that it was a collective decision of the state Houses of Assembly in the country to adopt the red colour, saying their quarterly meeting with other speakers to discuss issues in their respective state houses of Assembly shaped the decision.
The Speaker called on the legislative staff to handle the newly purchased equipment with care and put in their best for progress of the the state.
He said the state government is committed towards meeting the demands and needs of Tarabans through the provision of good roads and water among others, calling on Tarabans to support the Government.
