Taraba Assembly Aspirant registers over 60 for JAMB, offers Scholarships to 6 Varsity Students

A philanthropist and Taraba House of Assembly Aspirant, Alhaji Adamu Nuhu has registered free JAMB for over sixty indigenous secondary schools students across Ibi local government area of Taraba state.
Adamu who spoke while registering JAMB for the students, hinted that he also awarded scholarships to six University Students from Dampar in Ibi Local Government Area.
He noted that his decision to provide free JAMB and scholarship for students of his constituents is to create more opportunities for them to pursue tertiary education.
“This gesture is a symbol of my unwavering commitment to invest in the future of the children in our community.
“I believe that education is the bedrock of development and by empowering our students, our children would have access to quality education, we are laying the foundation for a prosperous and sustainable future for our dear children” he said.
He stressed that he awarded scholarship to Students of Taraba state University, Peacock College of Education and Taraba state Polytechnic.
He urged all the beneficiaries to make best use of the opportunity and strive for excellence in their academic pursuit, adding that future belongs to those who work tirelessly to turn dreams into realities.
A parent of one of beneficiaries, Rayyanu Adamu thanked the philanthropist for for taking a bold decision to assist their children in their educational pursuits.
“We are eternally grateful to him and we pray that Almighty Allah will grant him his dream in his political journey” he noted.
Also, Glory Bitrus who is one of the beneficiaries, lauded Alhaji Adamu Nuhu for initiating a free JAMB and Scholarships for them.
She highlighted that the gestures was designed to expand access to tertiary education for children from poor and vulnerable backgrounds.
