Taraba APC Stalwarts Hail Council Chairperson Over Developmental Strides

An All Progressives Congress, APC stalwart in Taraba state on Sunday hailed the Executive Chairperson of Yorro Local Government Area of Taraba state, Mrs Marthina Anthony over her developmental strides in the local government area.

The stalwart from Nyaja ward in Yorro LGA of Taraba state, Alhaji Saidu Dan Nyaja while speaking to selected journalists in Pantisawa, the headquarters of Yorro Local government, said the developmental strides of the Chairperson was second to none.
“Let’s keep party differences aside, I am a full card carrying member of APC in the state and regardless of our party contrast, we must speak the truth where we should.
“If you leave in Taraba state and have once visited Yorro, you need not to be told that the Chairperson of LG Council has made a difference.
“I was highly impressed with what she did within just years of her leadership as the Chairperson of the local government.
“I learnt some months ago, Governor Agbu Kefas gave each Council Boss 150 million to carryout projects across their respective local government areas.
“You need to visit Yorro Local Government and see how this woman judiciously used the money she got and delivered true dividends of democracy at the grassroot” he said.
Another, APC stalwart from Kassa ward, Ibrahim Aduma Kassa said the Taraba state chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the state and the local government area has thrown its weight behind her re election bid come November 8, 2025.
He stressed that the Chairperson of the local government has worked in such a way that no candidate can beat her records.
“She has done what men couldn’t do in the past, we collectively endorsed her for second term in office” he hinted.
