Dr Jauro made this known shortly after a meeting between local government chairmen and Governor Agbu Kefas at the Executive Chamber of the TY Danjuma House in Jalingo.
The meeting, which brought together council chairmen, focused on strengthening governance at the local level.
Addressing the press after the meeting, the ALGON Chairman disclosed that Governor Kefas had directed them to prioritize key projects, including the construction of markets and essential social amenities across the 16 local government areas of the state.
“As the leaders closest to the people, we are committed to ensuring that the dividends of democracy reach every corner of our communities,” Jauro stated.
He assured the public that local government councils would align their developmental agenda with the vision of Governor Kefas, aimed at enhancing grassroots governance and improving the welfare of the people.
