Taraba ALGON chairman, Hassan greets gov Kefas, others at Christmas

The Chairman, Association of local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) Taraba State chapter, Hon. (Dr.) Aminu Jauro Hassan has wished the State Governor Dr Agbu Kefas happy 2024 Christmas celebration and a prosperous new year, 2025 in advance.

Hassan, who doubles as the Chairman, Jalingo local government area of the State sent the goodwill message this Wednesday, 25th December, 2024 during a telephone conversation with our Correspondent in Jalingo.
In the same manner, he wished all christians in Jalingo local government area and Taraba State happy celebrations.
Advising the celebrants across the ten wards of the local government area to make good use of the teachings of Jesus Christ, Hassan said it is imperative for the celebration to carry the message of unity and peaceful coexistence for one another.
“Use this season as a period of sober reflection, meditate and pray for God’s guidance on how to live in peace and harmony with one another, even those of other religions”,
“This is a period to show love to one another, share food, money to your neighborhood and celebrate together”,
“The good people of the local government should come together as one despite religious, tribal and political affiliations. They should support one another in business, among other things to earn a living”,
“I call on the good people of Jalingo local government area to continue to give me the necessary support to succeed as their chairman and more importantly, they should support the policies and programmes of the present administration in the State under the leadership of of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas”,
“Government at the federal level need your prayers and support, government at the State level, need same prayers and support and when you come down to the local government level, your support and prayers are welcome and highly needed”,
All of us who are your leaders need your prayers, cooperation and support, to succeed”,
“But for your prayers and support to manifest, you must learn how to accommodate one another by living in peace, learn to tolerate each other and also forgive when shortcomings arise”, he
added.
In adhering to the above stated, Hon. Dr. Aminu Jauro Hassan assured that development will not only thrive but there will be the needed dividends of democracy to all and sundry.
