TARABA: ALGON Chairman congratulates newly elected Council Chairmen

The Taraba State Chairman, Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) Dr Aminu Jauro Hassan has congratulated the newly elected Local Government Council Chairmen over their victory on Saturday November 8 local local government polls.

The congratulatory message was contained in a press statement Dr. Hassan wrote and issued to journalists this Wednesday in Jalingo the State capital.
Doubles as the Chairman, Jalingo local government Council, Dr. Hassan emphasized that his message was on behalf of all ALGON members and chairmen of various local government councils across the State.
“I write on behalf of the leadership and members of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Taraba State Chapter, to extend my warmest congratulations to all the newly elected Council Chairmen on their well-deserved victories in the just-concluded local government elections”,
Describing their elections as clear proofs of the trust and confidence reposed in them by the good people of their various local government areas, Dr. Hassan added that their victories also signified the beginning of a renewed mandate for them to serve with integrity, transparency, and dedication toward the advancement of grassroots governance in Taraba State.
“As you prepare to assume office, I urge you to uphold the highest ideals of public service, promote unity, and ensure inclusive development that touches the lives of the people in your communities”,
“Let us work collectively to strengthen local governance and align with the vision of His Excellency, Dr. Agbu Kefas, the Executive Governor of Taraba State, in delivering democratic dividends to our people”, he added.
While wishing them a productive and impactful tenure in office, Hassan assured them that ALGON Taraba State stands ready to collaborate with all chairmen and councilors to foster synergy, share best practices, and build a robust framework for sustainable growth and peace across all local government councils.
