Taraba ACReSAL Flags Off 5 Days Induction For Technical Officers

The Taraba State Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) State Project Management Unit (SPMU) has organized a 5 Day Induction Training for Technical officers from the 16 Local Government Areas under the Project Management Committee.
Declaring the occasion open, the Taraba State Commissioner for Environment and Climate Change, Hajiya Aisha Barde, represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr Aminu Kotolo charged the participants to pay attention to the facilitators who are to equip them technical knowledge to enable them operate efficiently and in turn, step down the training at the LGA levels.

The Taraba State Project Coordinator, Dr. Clement Yakubu Giwa gave a brief overview of ACReSAL projects and the journey so far in the state.
He also charged the participants to be more attentive as ACReSAL has capable officers who will put them through the various sessions of the technical training.

He used the medium to acknowledge the efforts of Governor Agbu Kefas for his constant support to ACReSAL in the state.
The technical training session witnessed various presentations from the Monitoring and Evaluation officer, Abbas Kaigama, the Environmental safeguard officer, Dahiru Umar, the Gender Based Violence Officer, Josephine Bulus among others.
