Taraba: Abi’u Bauka To Hold National Elections in December 2024

The National President of the Abi’u Bauka Cultural and Development Association, Elder Samson N. Adaking has announced that elections into the National Leadership of Association is scheduled to hold on the 30th of December 2024 in Wukari, headquarters of Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State.

The National President revealed this in a Press Statement made available to Journalists in Jalingo, the Taraba State Capital.

 

He said already, an Electoral Committee has been constituted and will soon publish the modalities for the successful conduct of the elections.

 

Elder Samson Adaking therefore encouraged members of the Association to actively participate in all the activities and processes leading to the elections including contesting for the elective positions and the actual voting.

 

“We also wish to notify our members that the usual Town Hall meeting will equally be held on the 30th of December 2024 at a venue to be announced in due course.

 

“The National Leadership further wishes to use this medium to congratulate and commend the Governor of Taraba State, His Excellency, Dr Agbu Kefas for the numerous achievements he has recorded so far in his determined efforts to transform Taraba State especially in the areas of peace, education, infrastructural and socio-economic development.

 

“While we wish him more success in the task ahead, we equally call on all Tarabans to rally round the administration by offering prayers and the necessary support to enable it to achieve more for the state”.

 

The National President of Abi’u Bauka also called for unity among Tarabans, irrespective of their differences for the overall progress and development of Taraba State.
