“The situation report so far is that Taraba people have picked interest in ADC, no wonder the overwhelming welcome we received in every local government area we visited. Traveling round the State without hitches, without security officials is an indication that Taraba people have accepted ADC”, he said.
Hon. Muhammad informed the media that ADC is ready to form government in 2027 with a view to putting smiles on the faces of Taraba people.
Also speaking in an interview, the Secretary of the Transition Committee of ADC in the state, Bar. Haruna Kwetishe said ADC received decampees in everywhere they visited.

The good thing was that the decampees received in Jalingo was so excellent because, according to him, one time deputy governorship candidate of Action Alliance (AA) with all his members defected to ADC.
Bar. Kwetishe, who posited that such decampees received by the party within a short period of time, has not only increased the party membership but has also doubled its relevance.
He further revealed that ADC started its unveiling of offices across the State in December, 2025 at Mutum biyu, headquarters of Gassol LGA of the State.
“ADC has built structures across the three zones of the State and I want to tell you that the progress so far made by the party in the State has given it a pass mark and an opportunity to form government come 2027”, he added.
Calling on the people of the State to disregard what he described as unending promises of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its counterpart, PDP, Barr. Kwetishe assured that ADC government if voted into power in 2027 will better their lives.
“ADC is the substitute, we will take over because ADC is a party that came with a fine manifesto, that will take care of the poor, the elderly, women and youths”, he said.

Sen. Abubakar Tutare, Prof. Sani Yahaya at the event.
Confirming the defection, one of the defectors, Hon. Oliver Mayuka who doubles as the former Deputy Governorship candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) said what informed his decision to join ADC with his members was because, ADC and AA structures and manifestos were the same.
