SWAN Commends Bauchi Gov, Celebrates Comrade Gidado’s Appointment as Permanent Secretary

The Bauchi State Chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), has congratulated the former Deputy President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) presently serving as Special Adviser to Governor Bala Mohammed on Media and Communication, Comrade Mukhtar Gidado on his recent appointment as Permanent Secretary in the Bauchi State Civil Service.

The congratulatory message was contained in a press release signed and made available to Sports Journalists in Bauchi by the state SWAN Chairman, Bala Bawaji.
” The statement became imperative in view of his significant constant contributions and support to sports journalists in the state since assumption in office as SA media and encouragement and support of youth in various sports development particularly in his constituency Alkaleri LGA.
Bala Bawaji described Gidado’s new appointment as well-deserved and comes not as a surprise considering his remarkable dedication, commitment and loyalty to service, his passion for the media, interest in Sports journalism and sports development in Bauchi State.
“We are proud to celebrate this moment with him and wish him continued success in his new role”
According to the Chairman, the Association is optimistic that Comrade Gidado’s new Cap will continue to bring more glory that would add value to professionalism, and commitment to his new position as demonstrated in the past. His appointment is a testament to his hard work and unwavering contributions to both the media and sports sectors in Bauchi.
SWAN Bauchi State Chapter looks forward to working closely in partnership with him for further opportunities and improvement of welfare sports Writers in the state.
