STRAY BULLETS HIT TWO RESIDENTS OF GARAHA IN ADAMAWA
–Tol Huba, LG Chair visit victims at FMC Hong

Two residents of Garaha Mojoli in Hong local government area of Adamawa State have sustained various degrees of injuries from stray bullets when gunmen launched an attack on the community.
The victims who are currently receiving medical attention at the Federal Medical Centre, Hong were hit during an exchange of fire between the attackers and combined forces of military, Police, and local vigilante members forcing the attackers to flee.
During a sympathy visit to the community, Tol Huba, Barrister Alheri Bulus Nyako expressed his commitment to fostering peace throughout the Huba land and prayed for strength from God.
The Royal father while acknowledging the efforts of the state and local governments for restoring and ensuring lasting peace in the state, urged people of Garaha to embrace unity.
The Chairman Hong Local Government Council, Inuwa Usman Wa’aganda encouraged local vigilante groups and residents to maintain their support to security agencies, noting that their cooperation plays a vital role in the maintenance of peace.
The council chairman, while sympathizing with the community over the unfortunate incident, announced that the council has put mechanisms in place to prevent future re-occurrence.
He stressed the importance of unity during such challenging times.
The District Head of Dugwaba, Mr. Simon Yakubu, reassured that the community remains committed to supporting Hoba Chiefdom, and urged his subjects to collaborate with government and security officials for lasting peace
