Sports: Actions Resume Again At Spanish La Liga This Weekend

Football actions are set to resume in the Spanish LA Liga, and the German Bundesliga this weekend and continue in the Italian Serie A as the English Barclays Premier League embarks on a short break for FA Cup fixtures.
In the Spanish LA Liga, Rayo Vallacano open the 2025 football season against Celta Vigo on Friday while on Saturday Sevilla will seek to put behind them the poor results of 2024 as they welcome a Valencia side that have also been struggling.
Atletico Madrid will battle it out with Osasuna for the three points as they seek to return to the top of the league and remain in contention for the league title.
Real Sociedad welcome Villarreal while Real Valladolid entertain Real Betis as FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and Mallorca will not be in action as a result of their involvement in the Semi finals of the Supercopa.
In the Italian Serie A, Torino engage Juventus as Udinese welcome Ademola Lookman Atalanta while AC Milan host relegation threatened Cagliari with Napoli slugging it out with Hellas Verona.
Rejuvenated AS Roma travel to take on Bologna while Venezia ambush Inter Milan as Patrick Viara’s Genoa side test their strengths with Parma as Lazio set the tune for the 2025 on Friday with Como coached by Cesc Fabregas.
In the German Bundesliga, there is going to be top clash between Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen on Friday while Borussia Monchenglabach and Bayern Munich rekindle their local rivalry in the battle of Munich.
On the other hand, RB Leipzig welcome Werder Bremen, FC St Pauli host Eintrach Frankfurt with FC Augsburg entertaining Stuttgart, Hoffenheim battle Wolfsburg.
