RETIRED ENGINEER, ELDON BUBA KALBAN EMERGES NEW VILLAGE HEAD OF BAGALE

In a unanimous decision, a retired building Engineer, Eldon Buba Kalban, has been selected as the new Village Head of Bagale in the Daware District of Fufore Emirate of Adamawa state.

The selection process, which took place on Wednesday, was witnessed by the Village Council, the District Head of Daware, and a representative of the Fufore Local Government Council.
After a mild contest, the kingmakers, known as the Ndomoche and Kpana Bagale, endorsed Engineer Kalban as their candidate.
His name was subsequently presented to the authorities and formally submitted to the Fufore Emirate through the District Head for official confirmation.
The new Village Head hails from the dynasty of the late Homon Babu Bagale.
His ascension to the throne follows the demise of the former village head, Late Homon Daniya Haruna (Homon Takarmya II).
A title holder familiar with the historical selection process, Chief Barnabas Patta, described the event as peaceful and transparent.
“Yes! I can tell authoritatively that the process was transparent and peaceful,” the source stated.
“A few others came out to contest, but after serious scrutiny by the Ndomoche and Kpana Bagale, they found that Eldon Buba Kalban outshined others with certain qualities and royalty. Consequently, they ratified him expressly.”

Bagale is a densely Bwatiye populated town in Fufore local government area of Adamawa state with rich cultural heritage.
The town,which is an agricultural hub has produced academics, medical Doctors, prominent Journalists, Engineers and Frontline politicians in the country.
