RESOLUTIONS REACHED AFTER THE PDP NORTH EAST ZONAL YOUTH LEADER, HON. TIJANI SALE, HELD A ZOOM MEETING WITH STATE YOUTH LEADERS FROM ADAMAWA, BAUCHI, BORNO, GOMBE, TARABA, AND YOBE STATES
The Zonal Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) North East, Hon. Tijani Sale, convened a strategic Zoom meeting with State Youth Leaders from the six states of the North East geopolitical zone Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, and Yobe. The meeting was aimed at assessing recent political developments within the zone and across the country, as well as to deliberate on youth-focused engagement programs to be presented to the Zonal Working Committee for review and onward approval by party leadership.

Key Resolutions and Highlights of the Meeting:
1. Unwavering Loyalty:
The Youth Leaders unanimously affirmed their unflinching loyalty to the PDP and its leadership. Specifically, they pledged allegiance to the PDP National Acting Chairman, Ambassador Umaru Damagun; the Governors of Bauchi, Adamawa, and Taraba States Senator Bala Mohammed, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, and Dr. Agbu Kefas respectively; as well as other key leaders such as Senator Ibrahim Dankwambo of Gombe State and Alhaji Kashim Imam from Borno StateState as well as the North East PDP Zonal Chairman, Alhaji Babangida Umaru Modibbo.

2. Leadership as Guiding Compass:
The aforementioned leaders were recognized as the compass guiding the decisions and direction of the PDP youths in the North East. Their vision, experience, and leadership were acknowledged as critical to the party’s growth in the region.
3. Youth Engagement Programs:
It was resolved that zonal and state-level youth summits and conferences will be organized across the North East region. These engagements will commence after the forthcoming PDP National Conference and will serve as platforms for mobilizing, mentoring, and empowering young members of the party.

4. Grassroots Sensitization:
State chapters were encouraged to consistently brief their local government and ward youth leaders on the progress, prospects, and strategic direction of the PDP. It was emphasized that the recent National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held on July 30, 2025, addressed and resolved key administrative challenges facing the party.

5. Call for Exemplary Leadership:
The State Youth Leaders were urged to lead by example through their conduct and commitment. They were encouraged to demonstrate unwavering loyalty to the party, exhibit firmness, decisiveness, and diligence in their duties, and work actively to foster unity among PDP members at all levels.

Conclusion:
The Zonal Youth Leader, Hon. Tijani Sale and his counterparts from the six states of the North East expressed deep appreciation for the visionary leadership and developmental strides of the PDP Governors in the zone particularly in the areas of free education, infrastructure, and human capital development. They commended Senator Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Fintiri (Adamawa), and Dr. Agbu Kefas (Taraba) for their impactful governance and called on youths in the region to continue supporting and praying for them as they strive to improve the lives of their people.
