PLW HIV/AIDS: Taraba LG boss praises Gov. Kefas

Hon. Ismail Zakari Dangote, the Executive Chairman of Ardo-Kola local government area of Taraba State has showered praises and thanks to the Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas.

Dangote who made his position known through a telephone conversation with our Correspondent in Jalingo said Governor Kefas always recognize the less privileged persons and vulnerable people in the State.
He said the appointment bestowed on two persons Living with HIV/AIDS in the State is a testament of Governor Kefas’ humanitarian gesture and services to mankind.
The duo were appointed as Special Advisers (S.As) and were assigned under the wife of the Governor, Mrs. Agyin Agbu Kefas”, he added.
Dangote who described the Governor’s gesture as a remarkable achievement, further called on the people of the State to stop stigmatizing the vulnerable people in the society especially those living with HIV/AIDS.

At the Stadium, she flagged-off a health advocacy Campaign tagged, “Free to Shine Campaign which she described as a triple elimination of HIV/AIDS, syphilis and hepatitis youths and women of reproductive age”, he added.
Hon. Ismail Zakari Dangote also congratulated Governor Agbu Kefas and the people of the State for contributing immensely towards ensuring that Senator Oluremi Tinubu’s visit to the State was successful.
“Yes, the occasion was very peaceful and successful, Taraba people came out in large numbers to welcome President Tinubu’s wife to the State.
“I want to congratulate our talk and do Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas for always finding positive ways of resolving issues that have to do with the health of the people of the State”,
“The people of the State are not left out in my appreciation because they supported Governor Kefas, and the government of the State hence the peaceful and successful outing and reception in honour of the first lady and the dignitaries that accompanied her to the State”, he said.
Alh. Dangote also noted with joy the presence of of the traditional rulers and religious leaders during the visit and pointed out that all was as a result of the governor’s style of leadership to the people of the State.
