Plateau Gov’t, Aviare Global Concepts partner to revitalise Plateau Hotel

The Plateau State Government has signed a partnership agreement with Aviare Global Concepts Limited to revitalise Plateau Hotel in a move towards revitalising its tourism sector.

Gyang Bere, Director of Press and Public Affairs to the Governor of Plateau State, explained that the agreement, known as the Heads of Terms, paves the way for the reconstruction of the iconic Plateau Resort and Hotels Limited to international standards.

The signing ceremony, which took place at the Governor’s Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja, was witnessed by Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, who expressed his delight at the prospect of restoring the state’s neglected legacy properties.

“This is a momentous occasion for Plateau State,” Governor Mutfwang said.

“The reconstruction of Plateau Hotels will not only enhance our state’s beauty but also attract tourists from far and wide.”

According to Hon. Danlami Jelka, Managing Director of the Plateau Investment and Property Development Company (PIPC), the project will create employment opportunities, boost the state’s economy, and generate significant revenue.

He also noted that upon completion, the hotel will adhere to international standards, thereby elevating the hospitality offerings of the state.

“Aviare Global Concepts emerged as the preferred partner due to their impressive track record and robust financial plans,” Jelka added.

Mr. Kudla Satumari, Chairman of Aviare Global Concepts Limited, assured the state government of his company’s commitment to delivering a world-class hotel.

“We have a proven track records of successful projects, and we are confident in our ability to meet the expectations of the Plateau State Government,” Satumari said.

This marks a new chapter for Plateau State, as the administration continues to leverage private sector partnerships to harness the state’s tourism potential.

General Manager, Plateau State Tourism Corporation, Mr. Chuwang Pwajok, was part of the signing of the Heads of Terms.
