Photo News: Nigeria’s Defense Minister Meets Malian Interim Prime Minister
The Nigerian Minister of Defence, Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar has held a bilateral-meeting with the the Interim Prime Minister of Mali, Abdoulaye Maïga, on Thursday, 25th September 2025, during the 80th Session of the UNGA in New York, USA.
The discussions centred on strengthening defence and security cooperation between Nigeria and Mali in addition to seeking security collaboration with the Sahelian states with a view to defeating terrorism in the Sahel region.
