The Minister of Defence, Hon Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, this Monday delivered the keynote address at the opening ceremony of the 14th National Security Seminar, hosted by the Alumni Association of the National Defence College (AANDEC) in collaboration with the Office of the National Security Adviser.
The event was held today, Monday, June 23, 2025, at the National Defence College, Abuja.
The Minister attended the opening session in his capacity as the representative of the Special Guest of Honour, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and in his capacity as the Patron of AANDEC.
The seminar, themed “Combating Hunger and Poverty for Sustainable Peace and Development in Nigeria,” brought together audience of security experts, policymakers, and civil society leaders, among others.
