Major leagues across the world resume this weekend after the two-week international break, as Manchester City and Manchester United will light up the English Barclays Premier League as the two Manchester club sides meet at Etihad Stadium, the home ground of Manchester City.
The two Manchester rivals are yet to find their feet in the league this season as results from their three matches so far are nothing to write home about, as both have mixed results.
The weekend encounter offers both teams the opportunity to kick-start their season, even though there is more at stake to play for between the Manchester stronghold, especially regarding supremacy and pride.

Table-topping and defending Champion Liverpool FC travel to Burnley seeking to continue with their one-hundred per cent record in the Premier League, while Arsenal lay siege on Nottingham Forest at the Emirates Stadium in London, as Newcastle United and Wolves slug it out at St. James’ Park Stadium to begin life after the departure of Alexander Isak.
Everton, which has so far impressed this season, hosts Aston Villa, who are finding life so difficult since the beginning of the league, and West Ham United welcome their neighbour Tottenham Hotspur in a London Derby, while Chelsea take on Brentford.

In the Spanish La Liga, FC Barcelona would seek to bounce back after dropping their first point of the season in a one-all draw against Rayo Vallacano in a week three encounter.
FC Barcelona welcome Valencia, as Real Madrid will undertake a tricky trip to Real Sociedad, with Atletico Madrid hosting Villarreal, while Athletic Bilbao entertain Deportivo Alaves.
Lavante and Real Betis fight for the three points while Osasuna engage Rayo Vallacano as Espanyol host Mallorca.
In the Italian Serie A, Juventus battle it out with Inter Milan in the star match of the week in the Serie A, while Fiorentina welcome the Defending Champion Napoli, as Arsenal Legend Patrick Vieira’s Genoa, and Cesc Fabregas Como meet for the three points at stake, while AC Milan host Bologna.
Cagliari welcome Parma, while Atalanta battle Lacce with AS Roma taking on Torino, and Sassuolo host Lazio.
In the German Bundesliga, Heidenheim host Borussia Dortmund while Bayer Leverkusen engage Eintracht Frankfurt for the three points at stake.
Bayern Munich tackle newly promoted Hamburger, while Borussia Monchengladbach welcome Werder Bremen, with Mainz 05 hosting RB Leipzig.
