The Zonal Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) North East, Hon. Tijani Sale, has extended warm felicitations to PDP Governors, the Zonal Working Committee, members of the National and State Assemblies, party faithful, and youths across the North East on the occasion of Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary.

Speaking in Jalingo during an interview with correspondents, Hon. Tijani Sale described this year’s independence celebration as a “Sound of Victory” for the PDP in the North East and Nigeria as a whole as the party looks forward to 2027.
He commended the outstanding leadership and achievements of the three PDP Governors from the zone, Senator Bala A. Mohammed of Bauchi State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State, and Dr. Agbu Kefas of Taraba State particularly in the areas of youth emancipation, empowerment, and prosperity.
He prayed for continued peaceful coexistence, unity of purpose, and improved security across the North East states of Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, and Yobe, as well as the nation at large.
“This is a time to pray for our zone, our leaders, and our nation for what the Lord has done in the past, what He is doing today, and what lies ahead for the North East, Nigeria, and our great party, the PDP.”
On behalf of all PDP State Youth Leaders in the North East, Hon. Tijani Sale congratulated the governors and the good people of the region, with special emphasis on the youth, as Nigerians mark the 65th Independence Anniversary.
He also commended the commitment of the PDP Governors towards development and transformative youth-focused programmes in the zone, urging young people to rally around the PDP for growth and prosperity.
