PDP Govs stand with Gov Fubara amidst party crisis in Rivers State

Governors under the aegis of People’s Democratic Party (PDP ) have expressed their resolve to stand with Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State amidst the face off bedeviling the party in his state.
In a similar development, they condemned the recent pronouncements by President Bola Tinubu to compromise the upcoming Edo state Governorship election in favour of the All Progressive Party, APC using Federal might.
The forum made their position known when they unanimously expressed their dismay over the political impasse in Rivers State.
The Chairman of the body , Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State made this known in a Communique issue at the end of the Governors meeting held Friday in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital.
The forum decried a situation where court judgements are employed to determine the outcome of the party Congresses.
The communique further revealed that the Governors meet with the National Working Committee of the party to revisit the just concluded Congresses carried out in Rivers State.
“We will engage the NWC of our great party to revisit the Congress with a view to correcting the anomaly and allowing His Excellency, Governor Siminalayi Fubara to take his rightful leadership position of the party in the State” they stressed.
