Owerri 2024: Adamawa NUJ Endorses Alhassan,Bimbo, Zare

The Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Adamawa state Council has endorsed the candidatures of Comrade Alhassan Abdullahi,,Dr Abimbola Oyetunde and Zare Baba as the Presidential, Deputy Presidential and Vice President, Zone ‘E’ in that order in the forthcoming Triennial Delegates Conference of the Union slated for November 28-29th 2024 in Owerri,Imo State.
Rising from a high powered Central Working Committee meeting of the Council at NUJ Press centre Yola, the Chairman of the Council, Comrade Ishaka Donald Dedan said, the three candidates are the most qualified for the positions based on their antecedents in the history of the union.
“Alhassan Yahaya Abdullahi has passed through the ranks in NUJ Unionism up to the post of Deputy National President.
“He is a loyal, humble and level headed gentleman that can propelled the Affairs of the Union with all honesty just like his Boss, Chief Chris Isiguzo.
“Bimbo is a trailblazer with unparallel managerial Skills while Comrade Zare Baba is a thorough-bred Journalist, Mentor with traits of welfarism and uncommon leadership and social dispositions”.
He has stabilized the six Councils in the Northeast with relative peace, hosted the first ever capacity building training for over sixty Journalists sponsored by the Northeast Development Commission where new brand Samsung iPads and cash were donated to the participants.
He equally ensured peaceful conduct of elections in the zone and securing of palliative to the Councils to mention but a few.
The Council is soliciting support from Northeast and the entire Delegates to mobilize massive votes for the victory of the trio.
