One Year in Office: Gov Kefas Inspects Ongoing Projects

Ahead of the one year anniversary of the present administration, the Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas has inspected some ongoing development projects within Jalingo, the state capital.
The Governor who was represented by his Deputy, Alhaji Aminu Abdullahi Alkali reassured Tarabans of the commitments of his administration to the provision of the basic needs and infrastructural development for the benefit of the people of the State.
The representative of the Governor gave this assurance shortly after inspecting the ongoing projects in the State capital.
Alhaji Aminu Abdullahi Alkali was accompanied by the Secretary to the government of Taraba State Chief Gebon Timothy Kataps, Members of the State Executive Council, Members of the Taraba state house of Assembly and Permanent Secretaries among other dignitaries.
The team visited the
School of Nursing and Midwifery Jalingo, the ongoing trailer park project in Kpantinapu, the Danbaba Suntai Airport, the Taraba State College of Agriculture Science and Technology Jalingo, the Quarry Site and the Wuro Sembe Modern Abattoir amongst others.
In all the projects visited, the Governor and his entourage were conducted around the facilities by contractors and officials to inspect and assess the level and quality of work done so far.
In an interview shortly after the inspection, the Deputy Governor, Aminu Abdullahi Alkali expressed happiness with the progress and quality of work of the projects, assuring people of the state of more democracy dividends.
Some of the Commissioners equally commended the Governor for his development policies geared towards improving on the general well being of the people of Taraba state.
The contractors handling the projects promised to complete the job within the time frame stipulated in the contracts documents.
The ongoing projects in the State which are the manifestation of Governor Kefas’ led administration’s score cards are aimed at transforming the State to greatness.
