Northern Governors Wive’s Forum Pays Condolence Visit to Buhari’s Family

The Wife of the Taraba State Governor, Mrs. Agyin Kefas, alongside her counterparts from the Northern Governors’ Wives Forum (NGWF), have paid a condolence visit to the family of former President Muhammadu Buhari at his residence in Daura, Katsina State.

The visit, was to express their heartfelt sympathies and offer prayers following the passing of the elder statesman.
The Forum expressed profound sorrow over the demise of President Muhammadu Buhari, who passed away on Sunday, July 13th, 2025, in London.
The NGWF described the late President as a man of exceptional integrity, a disciplined leader, and a true patriot who remained committed to the unity, stability, and progress of Nigeria throughout both his military and democratic service.
They noted that his legacy extends well beyond his years in office.

“His principles—honesty, accountability, and selfless leadership—continue to inspire millions of Nigerians. His contributions to national development have left a mark that time cannot erase”.
In a special tribute, the Forum also commended Dr. Mrs. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, for her unwavering support throughout her husband’s public life, praising her courage, dignity, and resilience, and prayed Almighty Allah to grant her comfort, peace, and strength during this time of immense loss.
The Forum extended their deepest condolences to the children, grandchildren, and the entire Buhari family, praying that Allah envelops them in His mercy and grants them the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
“May President Muhammadu Buhari’s memory continue to inspire future generations to serve with sincerity, lead with humility, and love Nigeria with unwavering devotion”.
