North East Collation worries Over nationwide destructive violence,
Calls on youths, students to avoid being used

The North East Collation of Tinubu/Kashim (Support Groups) on Wednesday condemned in totality the ongoing nationwide protests against bad governance in Nigeria as claimed by those it described as retrogressive elements which have now turned violent.
The Director General of the Collation Hon. Yazid Inuwa MK Bauchi, stated while addressing Journalists shortly after a Town hall meeting with Youths and Students on the dangers of violent protests, and therefore called for nationwide prayers and dialogue in the interest of the nation.
“The lingering nationwide protests that are accompanied by violence across some Northeastern states have raised a serious concern to the North-East Coalition of Tinubu/Kashim Support Groups.” The DG said.
“Inview of this development, the leadership of this group deems it incumbent to come up with a Town-Hall Meeting to sensitize the Youths and Students on the imminent dangers of engaging in violent protests.” He said.
According to him, “And, basically, to highlight the incumbent need for a national dialogue, and fervent prayers, as best solution to immediate problems.”
The DG further stated that, “The platform found some prominent sons of the soil as worthy ambassadors of the zone, that can lead the Youths and students through dialogue and prayer seasons.”
“This medium serves as preferable juncture to award these distinguished personalities for their selfless services in various fields of human endeavors,” he added.
The Coalition strongly called on youths and students not to allow themselves to be used as tools of destruction by some retrogressive and bad politicians who are bent on destroying the present APC administration led by President Ahmed Tinubu.
Yazid Inuwa added that, “These prominent sons of Bauchi state that deserves these meritorious service awards are: Prof. Ali Pate, Minister of Health and Social Welfare to be awarded with the meritorious award for his ‘Healthcare and Social Service’ delivery to the nation.
Also recognised is Amb. Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, Minister of Foreign Affairs who received the Icon of Hope’ award for championing the course of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The Coalition also noticed and awarded Malam Musa Umar Yashi, the Executive Director, Humanitarian Affairs, North-East Development Commission (NEDC) for his humanitarian service delivery across the Six Northeastern states of Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, and Yobe states.
